How to listen to voicemail

For listening to voicemail:

  1. On your phone, dial consecutively 088 and the voicemail number (the screenshot above shows an email with the number 400, which means to listen to messages, you need to dial 088400).

  2. If a digital pin code is set up, after entering the voicemail box number, the system will prompt you to enter the pin code. Enter the pin code.

  3. You will enter the voice menu, where you will hear: “You have <number> new and <number> old messages.”

    Then follow the voice menu instructions.

    To execute voice menu commands, dial the required key on your phone in tone mode.

 

The diagram below describes working with the voice menu.


 

Main actions in the voice menu:

  • Listen to the message — key “1” in the main menu;
  • Delete the message — key “7” in the message menu.
  • Listen to old messages — key “2” in the main menu, then — key “1” in the submenu (directory selection), then, after returning to the main menu, — key “1”.


Detailed information on working with the voice menu

When you dial the combination 088+voicemail box number (and pin code, if set), you will enter the main voice menu, where you will hear: “You have <number> new and <number> old messages. Press “1” for new messages. Press “2” to change the directory. Press **“”** for help or “#” to exit.”*


Navigation through the main menu

  • “1” — listening to messages, message menu;
  • “2” — directory selection, which is called by key “1” — new or old messages;
  • “*” — repeat main menu;
  • “#” — exit, end the connection.


Number “1” in the main menu:

You will enter the message menu, where you can listen to the required messages. After each message, the message menu is played, where you can perform various actions with the message.

When entering the message menu, you will hear: <Message number> message. Message from the subscriber with the number <subscriber number>. After this, the client’s message is played, and then — the message menu.


In the message menu, possible actions with the message are announced:

  • Press “4” for the previous message (if available);
  • Press “3” for additional settings;
  • Press “5” to replay the current message;
  • Press “6” for the next message (if available);
  • Press “7” to delete this message (if previously selected deletion action — to restore this message);
  • Press “9” to save the message;
  • Press **“”** for help or “#” to exit*.


Working in the message menu

Number “4”:

The previous message is played. Then the message menu is played.

Number “3”:

  • You are offered to perform one of the following actions:
    • Press “2” to call the subscriber who left this message;
    • Press “3” to listen to the message information;
    • Press “” to return to the main menu*.

In the additional actions menu, number “2”:

You will hear: “The next number is recorded <subscriber number>. Press “1” to call this number. Press key **“”** to cancel.”*

In the additional actions menu, number “3”:

You will hear: “Message from subscriber <subscriber number>.”

Number “5”:

The listened message is played again. Then the message menu is played. The user listens to the message again and is offered to perform one of the following actions for the listened message.

Number “6”:

The next message is played. Then the message menu is played.

Number “7”:

The message is deleted (or restored if previously deleted). Then the message menu is played.

Number “9”:

You will hear: “In which directory to save the message? Press “0” for new messages, “1” for old messages, or “#” to cancel.”

Number “0” or “1”:

You will hear: “Message <message sequence number> saved in <directory name (new messages or old messages).>” Then the message menu is played.

 

Number “2” in the main menu:

You can choose which messages to listen to — new or old. You will hear: “Switch to which directory? Press “0” for new messages, “1” for old messages, or “#” to cancel.” With any choice, you will enter the main menu, where by key “1” the selected directory will be available — “New messages” or “Old messages”.

Symbol “*” in the main menu:

The main menu is played again.

Symbol “#” in the main menu:

You will hear “Goodbye”, after which the connection is terminated.
