SIP account is required for using and configuring VoIP equipment.
In the "Telephony" section → on the "SIP settings" tab, you can create and edit SIP accounts. Information about SIP account data is also available.
To add a SIP account, click the "Add" button.
You need to fill in the following fields:
SIP Type:
- Normal — for VOIP devices and softphones.
- Mobile — for using KOMPaaS Softphone on a mobile device.
- WebPhone — to use the Webphone widget in your personal account.
- A SIP account will be created. And in the top menu, the selected internal extension number will be displayed in the WebPhone icon.
If you haven't selected a Service yet or have chosen a number in Services - select the number of SIP channels for simultaneous creation, from 1 to 99.
Connected to — choose the service you want to link the account to:
Virtual PBX + Internal extension number
or
Phone number.
IP Binding (IP address list access restriction) — there are three options:
- No — user will be able to use the account from any IP address.
- Auto — the IP address through which access will be granted will be recorded at the first connection.
- Yes — you need to specify the IP address and its subnet (if any). You can add multiple addresses.
Click the "Save" button.
After saving, the created SIP account will be set up under the selected number or Virtual PBX, and you can view them in the table.
