Check conditions element

Modified on Mon, 1 Jul at 10:48 AM

With this element, you can check the value of user variables and depending on the value, take the conversation in many different branches of the scenario. For example, if there is a name on the contact, then we address by name, if there is no name, then we address by position or say a general greeting.

To add the Check conditions element:

  1. In the elements menu on the right, click on the icon;

  2. In the Check conditions modal window, set the parameters:

    • Select variable — the name of the variable for comparison;
    • Value type — allows the system to correctly interpret and process the variable value, be it a string, number, date or Boolean value;
    • Comparison type — method of comparison, (=, != for strings and flags; <, <=, >, >=, =, ! = for numbers);
    • Values for comparison — constant value for comparison;
    • Click the Save button.

To edit the element, click on the pencil icon.

The parameters in the Edit scenarios item modal window are identical to the parameters described above in the Check conditions modal window.

After setting up, connect the element with other scenario elements.

Example of using the Check conditions element, where the subscriber after the survey is directed according to the scheme, depending on the answer.
