Condition check element

Modified on Tue, 2 Jul at 3:37 PM

With this element, you can check the value of user variables and, depending on the value, steer the conversation into two different branches. For example, if the contact has a name, we address by name, if there is no name, we pronounce a general greeting.

To add the Condition check element:

  1. In the elements menu on the right, click on the icon;

  2. In the Condition check modal window, set the parameters:

    • Select variable — the name of the variable for comparison;

    • Value type — allows the system to correctly interpret and process the variable value, be it a string, number, date or Boolean value;

    • Comparison type — method of comparison, (=, != for strings and flags; <, <=, >, >=, =, ! = for numbers);

    • Compare with variable — variable comparison function with variable. When enabled, instead of a constant value for comparison, the variable name is entered;

      • Values for comparison — constant value for comparison;
    • Click the Save button.

To edit the element, click on the pencil icon.

The parameters in the Edit scenarios item modal window are identical to the parameters described above at the Condition check modal window.

Now connect the element with other scenario elements.

An example of a scenario where, by the Yes condition, the subscriber is directed to the queue, and by the No condition - the call is terminated.
