How to grant access to a conference

  1. How to grant access to third-party participants in the conference

To allow subscribers whose phone numbers are not included in the virtual PBX to participate in the conference, you must add the conference to the call script and correctly configure the call route for third-party subscribers.

This can be done in several ways:

    • On the company's phone number, using the "Voice Menu" (IVR menu) element, enable transfer to the conference when dialing one of the digits or allow additional numbers to be dialed (the client, knowing the extension number of the conference, will dial it in tone mode without listening to the entire voice menu).

    • Set up a separate phone number that the client will be directed to the conference immediately when calling. They will need to enter a PIN code to access this conference, if the PIN code was configured.

      • On the company's phone number, using the "Voice Menu" (IVR menu) element, enable transfer to the conference when dialing one of the digits.

  2. How to grant access to the conference for virtual PBX subscribers

To connect a virtual PBX subscriber to the conference, they need to be provided with the extension number and the time of the conference. The virtual PBX subscriber simply makes a call to the conference number at the scheduled time and joins by entering the pre-configured PIN code.
