Voice mailbox is a feature that allows subscribers to leave voice messages when an operator cannot answer a call or when a subscriber cannot reach the desired extension. Voice messages can be stored in the system and are available for listening at any convenient time.
This element is useful for improving customer service quality as it allows subscribers to leave messages even when there are no available operators.
✅ Note: If you don't have a voice mailbox yet, go to "Settings" → "Routing" → "Voice mailbox" and create a new voice mailbox. For more details, see "Voice mailbox setup" and "How to listen to voice mail". |
To add the "Voice mailbox" element:
Click on the icon in the elements menu on the right;
Select voice mailbox from the dropdown list;
To create a new voice mailbox, click on the link — "Create voicemailbox";
To edit the element, click on the pencil-shaped button.
In the "Edit scenarios item" modal window, the following parameters are available:
- Number — voice mailbox number. Selected using the up and down arrows. You will need to enter this number on your telephone device to listen to voice mail messages;
- Name of voice mailbox — specify a name for convenient selection and search;
- Pin code — PIN code for accessing the voice mailbox. Setting a PIN code is optional, but if it is set, you will need to enter it on your telephone device to listen to messages;
- Send copy to E-Mail address — enter, separated by commas, all email addresses to which copies of voice mail messages should be forwarded (in mp3 format).
Click the "Apply" button to save the settings.
