⚠️Note: To connect the SIP trunk itself, please refer to the instruction 'How to enable SIP trunk'. |
⚠️Note: Before adding a number to the SIP trunk, make sure you have a phone number connected. For more details about connecting a number, see 'How to enable a phone number'. |
You can connect a number to a SIP trunk both when viewing the SIP trunk and when viewing phone numbers.
When viewing SIP trunk:
Go to 'Telephony' → tab 'SIP trunks' → in the left menu 'SIP trunks'.
Select a trunk from previously connected ones in the left menu. See 'How to enable SIP trunk'.
Numbers linked to the SIP trunk are displayed on the right side of the form. To link or unlink phone numbers, click the 'Navigate to Numbers' button. You will be directed to the phone numbers page.
When viewing phone numbers:
Go to 'Telephony' → tab 'Telephony', right menu 'Phone numbers'. All purchased phone numbers will be displayed.
Click the 'Connect' button.
✅Note:
The 'Connect' and 'Disconnect' buttons are available if the 'Virtual PBX' or 'SIP trunk' service is connected, while the text next to it depends on which service numbers are purchased — 'Connecting numbers to VPBX/SIP trunk', 'Connecting numbers to VPBX' or 'Connecting numbers to SIP-trunk'. See 'Connecting numbers to VPBX/SIP trunk'.
In the opened form, select the appropriate trunk from the dropdown list of available SIP trunks.
If you have only one trunk, this step is skipped, and you proceed directly to selecting numbers.
If you also have the 'Virtual PBX' service connected, at this step you should select 'SIP trunk'.
After selecting the trunk, click the 'Next' button.
Check the numbers that should be transferred. To transfer all numbers at once, click the 'Select all' button.
Click 'Save'. The selected numbers will be transferred to the specified trunk.
