How to download a conversation recording using the proxy method

To get a conversation recording:

  1. Make sure you have an integration in the 'Integrations''Marketplace' section. 

  2. Open the 'Downloading a conversation recording' proxy method in the 'Integrations''Proxy methods' section and copy the external link.

    Note:

    The 'Downloading a conversation recording' proxy method is created automatically when creating an integration.

     

  3. Go to 'Integrations''Integration triggers' and create a 'Call recording available' trigger.

    Note:

    The trigger must match the type of integration selected. For more information, see 'Creating an Integration Trigger for Email'.

     

    • In the trigger settings, specify:

      • In the 'Integrations' field — select your integration.
      • In the Message field, paste the copied link from the 'Downloading a conversation recording'' proxy method.
        • Add to the end of the link — ?call_id=${{callId}}.
      • Fill in the 'Trigger name' and 'Mail subject' fields.
    • Click 'Save'. 

  4. Now you will receive a download link according to your chosen integration.

    • Example for email. 

    • Example for Telegram.
