Webhooks and Triggers Filters

Modified on Thu, 13 Feb at 9:59 AM

⚠️Attention!

The functionality is available for use, but is in beta testing mode!

This functionality is designed for creating and configuring filters for specific telephony events, as well as defining conditions that will be applied to event variables.

The created filter is attached to a specific webhook card or integration trigger.

Filters can be used for automatic filtering and processing of telephony-related events within webhooks or integration triggers.

  1. To create a filter, go to the 'Integrations' section → 'Filters' tab and click the 'Create filter' button.

  2. Select one or more events whose variables you want to use, specifically, which variables you want to filter by. And click 'Next'.

  3. Where:

    • Specify the filter name.
    • Click 'Add condition' to set filter parameters.
    • Click 'Add list'to create your list of values to compare with the variable.
      • In the 'Variable' column, select the event variable from the dropdown list (located before the dash '—'. After the dash, you'll find the variable description). You will compare your value or list with the selected variable.

      • The 'not' column. Selecting 'not' (if it's blue, it's selected) negates the condition. For example 'not Equal' or 'not In', instead of just 'Equal' and 'In'.

      • In the 'Condition' column, select the required condition from the dropdown list. If you want to compare with a list of values, select 'In', as other conditions are only suitable for comparing with single values.

      • The 'Value' column. If you selected one of the conditions designed for comparing with a single value, enter the value for comparison in this field. If you selected the 'In' condition, then select a list from the dropdown field or create it.

For more details, see the instruction 'How to create a list for filter'.

  4. Then select the created list and save the filter.

  5. The filter is created.

  • Note that when creating a webhook \ trigger, filters that contain events matching the events in the webhook \ trigger will be displayed.
